The mission of the Hill Country Christian School Fine Arts Department is to cultivate each student’s artistic talents and passions to reveal and express ultimate truth, beauty, and goodness.

The arts have the potential to convey meaning in ways more powerful than direct, didactic teaching. In the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness through artistic mediums, the pitfalls of deception, chaos, and wickedness also become more apparent. The arts activate parts of the brain that cultivate creative thinking, decision making, and problem solving, which is one reason the arts form an integral part of a well-rounded education.

Hill Country students have the opportunity to pursue theatre, musical theatre, art, band, worship leadership, digital design, photography, and other forms of art in both Logic and Rhetoric School. God has revealed truth, beauty, and goodness through artistic means. At Hill Country Christian School, we seek to cultivate each student’s capacity to do the same.
